The old designations of the product lines of ContiTech industrial belts are replaced by new names.
Continental is completing the global harmonization of its assortment and changing the naming structure of its products. This also includes changing the names of the ContiTech industrial drive belts that we have known until now.
The CONTINUITY project provides information support for this significant change.
Continental CONTINUITY
The belts will be divided into three main categories according to the requirements of the application, which is also reflected in the design of the logo on the belt.
SUPREME
Highest quality for maximum efficiency and extremely long service life, especially in complex drive systems with individual requirements.
ADVANCED
The solution for reliable power transmission even at high power outputs and speeds and for applications in demanding environments in terms of media, dirt, dust or temperature.
STANDARD
The first choice for reliable and, at the same time, cost-effective power transmission in standard applications.

Motivation for change
After acquiring Veyance Technologies in 2015, the American manufacturer of Good Year belts, Continental became the largest global manufacturer of belts.
The diversity of the portfolio and the diversity of regional offers led to the decision to unify and simplify the product structure.
The goal is to achieve a unified brand identity, increase the efficiency of production and distribution. The same type and name will be used by customers in all regions of the world.
